I don't think the thread is funny. I believe ratings on forums are taken way too seriously and it was funny to me to rate the post funny.
Some people have different opinions. ECC tries to keep everyone happy. This wouldn't offend people that take ratings lightly.
I agree, I find it very immature to rate someone "funny" in as serious of a thing as complaints/appeals.
I want to apologize. I have poor self control at times when it comes to being immature, despite my age. I actually agree that there are situations where it shows very poor judgement to rate posts.
