Minecraft Name: Loganeric Suggestion: When a user reports something, it looks like this (moderator view) A staff member then opens the report folder and sees this. They then select the report they want to view / handle. On the side, staff members see this. I think the user should be able to see if their report has been resolved or rejected. This is very easy, just by clicking the "Send Resolution / Rejection Alert". When clicked, the user will see the following. It helps them know what they reported was resolved or rejected and also lets them know what they need to report in the future. Reason: As of right now, we don't know wether or now our reports are resolved or rejected. I think it would be nice for users to be able to see. Any Other Information: Very easy for staff member to do. Link To This Plugin: This is not a plugin as it's already added on with our forum software.
*Whenever I report they never send a alert to me* That's just me though. Discussing with Nicit6, he said that he usually does send a alert to the user. That doesn't mean however all staff do it. That's why I think it should be added to the staff guidebook that when dealing with reports, send the user an alert stating wether it was rejected / resolved and a little caption.
Most staff don't, when I was staff I did this when I handled reports. Some staff will send you a forum pm though.
Some do, some don't. I did when it was important, but didn't bother when it was routine work. It's honestly not all that vital, as you can check back to see if the post got a warning/was deleted if you care that much.
When I was staff, I always send a message/ alert. I think it would make sense for all staff to follow the same procedure. Helps staff - user communication.
All staff should be sending a notification of rejection/resolved, either by an alert or a forum PM (Or any form of contact to be honest). If you have reported something and not received an alert, please let me know what you reported and when.
In fact, as this suggestion has sort of been implemented / staff have been reminded to do it, I'm going to lock it. As I said above, if you don't receive a notification of some sort regarding a forum report, please let me know Thanks for the suggestion. Locked
