[Suggestion] Let melon farming die

There are dragon eggs, chainmail, other things.

I would much rather have people mining then melon farming. Have you ever experienced melon farming before?

 

Because everything in this server will always be the same if we're too afraid to actually allow something different to happen for once.

 

No it won't. Melon farming won't die off on its own because other people are farming cocoa beans or automatic wheat farms or w/e.

The difference is cocoa beans and wheat farms actually require work replanting everytime, where as melons you can simply walk up and down a row, clicking your mouse and getting infinite amount of melons which grow back rather quickly with no work done for you.

 

Because they don't have the access to tools that make it so much easier.

It doesn't to be honest. It is suggesting to transfer the higher payday to a higher risk, more user run market. Where as melons are server run, despite eff 7s and melonswords costing about the same.

 

It's not, its a better option. When I said I would rather see cocoa beans/wheat rise again, I meant as the better crops.

Ore prices may go up then.

 

Which were you referring too?

 

If mining resets happened maybe a little more often, then perhaps they will remain neutral. However if materials are gone through faster than we can replace them, expect an increase.
