Marriage is silly and we don't need a plugin for it, if you want to be married with someone ingame, go ahead but there won't ever be anything official/beneficial for it.
This is completly outrageous this is minecraft not christianmingle.com or any other dating sight this is suppose to be a kid friendly server and when they come to this server they dont want to know that its practicaly a new dating sight for teenagers etc i dont even think this should be considered knowing that its possible you can loose knew players due to that plugin.
Yes but silly = fun, fun = players enjoying themselves, players enjoying themselves = donations/new players/advertising. Thats how i see it, and it doesnt have to benifit in any way.
Let me rephrase, There won't be official support for marriage, because it's a silly idea. You can still 'marry' unofficially, a marriage plug-in would scare potential users off. (mainly parents who don't want their kids to have anything to do with that) And from what I can see this plug-in gives married people a benefit over others, which is a bad idea because it forces people to get married to have the same advantages.
Parents don't let children play Minecraft so they can learn about marriage. There are many other aspects of Minecraft that are more appealing to the general playerbase than this.
