Minecraft Name: TheBuckeye11 Suggestion: Make monthly SG prizes. Reason: This might help revive SG. If there is a greater goal to accomplish then more people will want to play. Any Other Information: Some of you may have saw this title and said way to OP but I suggest don't make the prizes as amazing as the voting prizes, and maybe only top 5 players. I'm not sure what the prize should be maybe ECD or gift card codes worth less than what is given in the top 10 voting but either one I think would motivate players to SG more. Coding I assume would be kind of similar to how you keep track of the votes but I really don't know. My last SG suggestion was a total bust but hopefully this ones better. Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: This would require some coding on the developer's part but I think they should be able to do it in decent time if this goes through.
Honestly at this point I don't see why we'd want to motivate people to play SG. SG is still too Pay2Win to be a draw for new players, so an active SG won't do much on that front. Sure, players we have already might see SG active and want to buy kits, but soon enough those won't be a paid feature. Making SG more competitive has no real benefits, although will surely create plenty of toxicity in chat.
Before any SG events are held SG needs to be more balanced. At this point I don't see many solutions to fix SG (other than nerf kits, which won't happen), but if you think of something that could help I'd love to see a suggestion.
I see your point but I didn't say new players, I said it might revive SG. New players might not play but older players would as I see it.
What we could to is add another game like paintball, with no p2w, but with ranks(like 10 kills - private 50 kills - Sargent and so on). It could give a new opportunity for donators and non donators alike to earn a little more income or prizes. Because at this point, we can't do anything about sg.
Buckeye, beating a dead horse isn't going to get SG anywhere. It's time to focus on a new minigame, as SG is dead.
