Ah, yes lol, forgot about those lol. Now that I realize it, it would be nice to see a star shield/shears but I don't know about flint and steel. Also @Nicit6 you forgot the elytra, it would be real nice to see that as a star armor or of the such.

 

I get shears (saplings), but what could you possibly fortune with with shields and flint'n'steel?

 

This will make farming on crops like potatoes, carrot and etc godlike but that will be only for the high-end herbalism users, anyways I support this idea.

How do you use the tool? Can you use fortune on potatoes etc.?

 

Of course you can use fortune tools on crops like potatoes, you simply hit them normally as you do like to every other blocks except that fortuning crops doesn't reduce durability so technically, that Star Hoe can lasts forever if not used as tilling crops.

@_Sharpy - I use my max fort pick for farming. The fortune works and the durability doesn't go down. It also fortunes melon slices, but the durability goes down and it's way too slow to be worth it anyway.

 

+1 I like the idea plus I think star elytra would be cool for players to buy them from the star shop and not just from other users like other star tools. The hoe would allow those crops to be used for making good amount of money like melons do with mswords.

 

How much would this cost? Maybe 750-1000 stars?

There is no way this can match the income of the end/other star tools unless you spend about a week of 24/7 gameplay grinding out herbalism.

 

I mean, in all honesty earnings from tools are typically calculated based on the max possible earnings - meaning that if you make more money from having a high herbalism we base the max money off of high herbalism. You need to grind out mining to make that the most profitable too as a maximum length superbreaker will make a huge difference.

 

He had just mentioned that it's the only tool without a star version and I'm point out that it isn't. I'm not advocating for star versions of them as they'd be largely useless.

 

If we are talking about calculating the amount of money made with star tools, then what would a super breaker do if you already had an efficiency seven pickaxe?

 

Melon is not instant even with a melon sword, therefore super breaker would make a huge difference. I don't think the same could be said for star pick, though

 

Yes, breaking melons with a melon sword is indeed not instant. I never mentioned melons or melon sword in my posts, so I don't get the relevance of that. My post was solely about star pickaxes and super breakers for them

 

You never mentioned star picks in particular as well as you were talking of star tools in general, so isn't a melon sword to be considered a star tool?
