Minecraft Name: BillyTL Suggestion: Allow people who have Commands++ to use /nv in SG. Reason: I'm better off not using /nv at all, and just getting a second hand gamma-altering mod (Gammabright, a really wonderful litemod). It's very annoying to play SG without night vision at times, considering the lack of light is something I'm not used to. People who don't use the feature have a greater advantage than I do. Other Information: Either give us the command, or just have the /nv carry over into SG. Link to this plugin: None
Just go into options.txt and change gamma There are like 20 tutorials about it on the forums because it's so easy to do
The reason I like /nv is because it's toggleable (as are mods like Gammabright). When I'm mining (or would be SG) I have /nv on. When I'm just exploring and in homes, etc, I have it off. I don't want to re-log every time I want to change it.
I don't think you're understanding the point of this suggestion. The appeal of /nv, the reason why it even exists is so you can toggle it in-game. If it was just the night vision alone, it wouldn't have been worth coding because everyone knows how to change their gamma. My point is, I don't want it always to be bright, but I do when I'm in SG. It's very simple, give us the command in SG so we have reason not to take one of the second hand routes and get a mod for changing gamma in-game on the fly.
I think some may be missing the point of this suggestion. Before I was able to get /nv, I used to adjust my gamma also, but /nv is much better and like Billy is trying to say - I like to toggle it off when building or looking at other towns and builds without logging each time.
Sorry Billy, I guess I was typing my response as you were Only just not as fast as my brain does not work that well anymore
