Minecraft Name: ARMCgamer Suggestion: Make it so only staff can see LWC requests Reason: I literally lost money from people using Tp++ to teleport to the cords of my filed LWCs and stealing the stuff from them. It is completely unfair and I believe that only staff should be able to see the filed LWC removal requests. Another reason it is unfair is because it always gets unlocked when I cant get on and by the time I do everything is taken. I filed over 10 LWC's yesterday and they got unlocked while I wasn't home. Everything of worth was stolen from these chests. Any Other Information: None except it shouldn't be allowed or this change should happen, I don't care if someone already suggested this or was denied, but I feel like it really needs to be brought up again. I would love to this this. Im sure its possible to: Make a section which player are able to post there lwc request. As soon as it it posted, it is moved into a sections where only SMod's or higher can see, from there if they are able to remove the lwc, then you recieve a automatic pm saying that its been completed through the forum or if its not following the rules of lwc removal, then you will get a message saying its been denied and the reason for the denial. Thats the only way i can see it working which will more more denials and no ability to talk or edit your post if you make a mistake. But id love to see this happen. ---- BUT lots of people will say that you shouldnt be lwcing the chests to get the items worth lots, you should be getting rid of them to remove them from the town....We could make it so the items inside will be deleted along with the chest Thats just as fair also, as its no more yours then it is anyone elses.
The issue is that these items don't belong to you. When the chests are locked they belong to the player who locked the chests. When the chests are unlocked, they are fair game. They're a lock removal, not an item claim.
@Mission001 I don't think things should be deleted though, like what if your friend has a melon sword you guys are sharing in a locked chest and you both paid half for it. He ends up quitting or not being able to join ever again and once you file a LWC removal, it would suck for the melon sword to be deleted. That's the one issue with that and that did cross my mind while creating this suggestion. Also I filed the LWCs to clear out the town so I could destroy everything and start fresh. I figured because I'm trying to start up a shop it would be nice to have some of these users items for my shop to sell and help increase my income. Now other people are profiting over these peoples stuff and it shouldn't be theirs to take or use in the first place.
@nicit6 I agree they aren't just an item claim, but I feel like it basically is just an item claim for those people who use TP++ or go to the town to get the things when the people aren't on. By all means, if someone finds an unlocked chest before the owner gets to it, feel free to take the stuff. If they find it because someone has to share where they are to the public, I just feel it is unfair. Most people that file LWC's I think just want the stuff inside and they are being cheated by those people who can just tp to the coordinates right after they are unlocked (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). I understand that is your opinion of this matter and I agree with parts of it to some point, but I still feel like it is unfair. Edit: Also you are doing the work for them to get free stuff, it is them profiting off someone else's work.
Umm, I have to go -1 here. Like nicit said, unlocked chests are fair game and that's that. If you were willing to pay 60 bucks to get tp++ to have that sort of advantage, then fine. It's your money, and if you want to use it to snipe items from unlocked chests then that's fine. I know it may be annoying to town owners, but they're just as capable to read a supermod's post on an LWC removal, log on right then and grab the unlocked stuff in their town as tp++ owners are. Just my two cents.
