Suggestion: Make purchaseable Mineruns, either by irl money, or ECD. Don't know what a Minerun is??? http://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/threads/how-to-minerun.119883/
Reason: In the past 2 years andrew has only done mineruns in the dead of night(like 1 or 2 maybe)s, it is unfair for us veteran players who enjoy mineruns to never have a chance to attend them, I understand at the dead of night the money pumped into the server decreases but it is still unfair for us, are we supposed to play 24/7 for over a year straight just to attend one? Making the Mineruns purchasable can make it actually take money out of the economy instead of generating. I suggest either 500k ECD or 100 USD to purchase a minerun event, and I believe the purchaser should be allowed to say when it begins to avoid that purchaser being offline when their minerun occurs.
Any Other Information: You could also make a donation page where at a certain amount donated it will trigger a Minerun event. For example, a community donation pot for ECD, once that total reaches 500k(or whatever amount) a minerun event would be on deck. So let's say there's 200k in the collection pot, I throw in 100k, now we would only be 200k away from triggering a minerun (300k total). Vice versa with IRL money.

Something like this, in my opinion, kind of defeats the purpose of minerun.
It's intent should be to bring the community together, not just give people the chance to make money. Yeah, it's cool and all, but after you see them every time, or have a bad experience at one (dying and losing your stuff), it might become more about the money. -

If there were planned mineruns, like once or twice a year I would be satisfied, but this randomly doing them at like 4 in the morning est is bs imo.

I dont like the idea of paying for a server event. While mineruns don't occur all that often, it would be like paying for a boss battle, or paying for a crazy lotto

As it was already said above...I don't like the idea of buying such random events, they are supposed to be special. HOwever, what I'D wish for would be a minerun at more...european times. The last one was at 4am, and I guess time zones are a reason for many people to not be able to participate in one.

I would get 6 people together all throw 100k for the event.
