[Suggestion] Remove banned users from the chatbox

This is totally unnecessary. If they are allowed to come back, why the hell are they not allowed to post on the forums? The forums are not as adequate as the game, and you can't do much on the forum but post. Is saying "I'm unbanned in 10 hours!!!" a necessary crime to be forum banned for, when they may have questions for moderators or want more information on the forums while they are gone? The shoutbox doesn't have any better conversations rather than people spamming about a restart, when the server is down, some mod saying "lololol fools got banned for spamming when restart. stop thinking its not a ban." and just advertisements. The shoutbox is the harbor to basically all arguments, and banned people already have their punishment of not being able to join the server. Depending on how long they are banned, town owners may take their plots, etc. Being banned is a massive punishment and punishing them by taking away their right to communicate with the other community members because they say "1 hour left D!!!" is completely wrong.

 

Well, I still suggest a forum warning if a player decides to talk about their bans or complain about them. Just today, I have already seen two people complain about why they're appeals were taking longer than others.

 

This is still a silly suggestion since it doesn't accomplish anything positive... just make a normal complaint if you see someone talking about their ban in the shoutbox.

 

Taking pictures of the shoutbox is harder then taking pictures of minecraft, I'm not even sure how to do it myself.

There are also programs like greenshot, gyazo, etc, for windows. Mac has COMMAND+SHIFT+4 (or F4 if you want it saved to your clipboard) or Shutter for Ubuntu

 

No, it does not copy to my clipboard. Hitting printscreen does nothing. No copy and paste. No papers printing. No files appearing with photos in them.

Nothing.

 

You could try one of the programs I mentioned in my post. (I myself use greenshot)

Then it seems like you aren't a fan of filing complaints for offences done in the shoutbox. Your personal preferences regarding downloading programs are not valid justification for removing banned users from the shoutbox.

 

I'd love to file complaints against users in shoutbox, but I'm not going to download excessive programs. It would be better to be built in.

And I already said earlier, since banning from the shoutbox would mean a forum ban, I'm against it.

 

Your key is broken/sticky, then. New keyboard. Maybe look in your computer for settings. Compressed air, or blow with your mouth to clear out dust/gunk. Very slightly damp paper towel, gently clean around the key. Etc. There is no reason for the key to not work.

All Windows OS (operating systems)/computers (Vista thru to Windows 8) come with Snipping Tool. Default program for selecting an area of your screen (screenshot), and saving it. If it is not on your computer (again, Windows, and Vista+), then you or someone else uninstalled it.

As for Apple/Mac, they all come with their own default snipping tools/screenshot tools, however I forget the commands (key combinations) for them.. It's been months since my class that had Mac computers.


As for the suggestion itself, I am still against banning users from the shoutbox. Although I kind of see why some people want it (spam or unecessary messages counting down until they are unbanned, etc), it can still be handled. It is not like there are absolutely no rules against it - we can and do do things about it, when we see it/are there.

 

Well I hate to break it to you, but the key presses just fine, there's no reason for it to be broken. This keyboard is in great condition. But it still doesn't work.

 

There has got to be a fault somewhere, all windows operating systems support this feature
