Agreed. Staff were never unaware of this (Stolio/Revan used this trade). However, the scale this is being used at now is destroying the economy. Please remove villager eggs, +1.
Or add villagers to the mobs destroyed when the butcher activates? That way it wouldn't be a removal, but a nerf.
Then you have to spend time explaining to people what happened to their villagers and have to listen to them complain in global about it :/
+1. I have to wonder if this would include villagers spawned when the mining world resets. Would those still be around?
or increase the prices. I mean 1k an egg? Make it 5-10k, you can still pull a profit if you're lucky.
but raising the price that much would deterr many users from entering the market and the profit margins would be smaller
I heard a perfect villager can earn about 15k/hour. (Not sure whether this is still valid with fropped emerald prices) Those who do it know very well that they need to invest first and usually have the funds to do so. :/
15k an hour? wow, I didn't expect it to be that high at all lol. I suppose that removing them would be a good idea in that case. I was just poking a new idea around.
I was surprised emeralds were still at such a high price back in september when I rejoined.. it's like no one cared to invest money in villager trading, or nobody paid attention to villagers. They've been around since I started playing in 2012. A great source of income indeed.
