I say that all of us ECC members, who have family members "fighting the same fight" as said by andrew create a ever going fund for Arisen- Arisen has just lost 2.5mil in lotto andnow in hospital due to [Mod Edit]. I would like to start a fund for Arisen batman. Ctoolme OhMrsKittyKat to help me on this project. I please ask that everyone donates 10% of there funds to this fund I am still to organize this with more passionate player as to how we may do this. What would be the reason for us replacing the money lost in lotto? The fact that he is ill or...? Without sounding like a jerk, I'm all for helping people but I don't like the idea of replacing money that was carelessly lost due to lotto. Just my thoughts.
I do hope he gets better, and I am all for helping people... But things in a game are just that; in a game. What will really help him right now is real life care and attention. Games unfortunately cannot fight for/against health or heal someone's health. I also agree with void_yo and miner1975. I'm personally not a fan of giving money through third parties, and I prefer to "play" games (lotto) fairly and like everyone else. Again though, I do hope Arisen gets well.
Oh.. He lost it in lotto? I hope you get better Arisen, but people need to learn that you only truly win lotto by not playing.

I'm sorry, but using cancer as a reason to get money in a game is pretty bad. It is just exploiting a bad situation, and it seems more like conning people out of money rather than helping someone. If someone wants to help someone recover money lost in the lotto, that is fine, but don't try to use cancer to guilt someone into donating. All things aside, playing the lottery is your choice. The entire server is not supposed to help you recover money lost in the lottery, nor should anyone even be asked to help recover it. It is very selfish to ask others to help obtain money that you lost in this manner.
Keep in mind that arisen did not make this thread. And i doubt he asked people to make it. So, its your desition to donate or not, but don't slaunder him for something he didnt do.
I am not slandering him nor am I slandering anyone. I honestly don't care who made this thread. I am just stating that trying to get people to donate to money lost to the lotto is in bad taste. Also that using cancer or any other illness as a means to get people to donate to this "cause" is even worse. I love how people on this server love to throw the word slander around.
What would you have rather me say? Thats practically what you were doing. Saying that thats wrong to promote yourself because of sickness. And it sounded much like it was aimed at Arisen, even if thats not what you meant. Sorry, i don't like this thread for may reasons, one for the topic if cancer and the experience my family members have had from it. I am getting defensive, so i will no longer post.
It doesn't matter what it "sounded" like. You use the word slander, yet you don't even know what it means. Saying that it is wrong to use an illness to promote something is not slander.
