    I would suggest that beetroot seeds are given some kind of a price to sell to the server. What price is used is up to the admin. Currently they are not able to be sold to the server. Beetroots made it to the game as of sat 04/02/16. there was a flood of seeds on the auction house and people were planting them. However by the end of the day I saw that they were being given away to other players to plant. I personally have a double chest half full of these things. At this point I can only sell them to other players, use them or drop them in lava to make them go away. At the very least change them so that they have a sell value of zero like sand does.
    oh ya and by the way thank you for getting the game updated in a timely fashion to include all the new updates.

    I believe they should have some sort of server value, even if it's $.05. Selling seeds would make farming beetroots more profitable, and people may start farming them for money instead of the traditional cash crops. Overall, farming diversity is a good thing.

    Today I found 2 beetroots seeds in a mineshaft but I can't do anything with me so I tried to sell them with /sell hand but nothing :)!
    I agree that every seed needs a /sell hand
    For example if you are farming you can sell what you farmed for money
