google nocheatplus, look for something that explains the chat spam filtering and voila, you got yourself what you asked for.
As this would probably solve the very issues that brought to this suggestion in the first place... any news?
Unsure whether this comment should be a bump to the original suggestion, or a request for news on this: ps: I added another option in the poll, as it could be reasonable to just add this to the patron rank. Patron rank allows you to customize colors in chat messages and gives you the ability to /ch qm, so it makes total sense to just add this ability to that pool.
By the way, was spam filter changed? (either this, or I lag terribly, but I don't seem to experience lag otherwise, so this puzzles me) I keep getting kicked for spam, even after increasing to 2 seconds the delay between the two trade message
