Minecraft Name: @DiamondDesire
Suggestion: Lower VMR prizes and lower it to top 3 or just first place regarding money. Top 5 for points on a weekly basis.
EDIT : Make higher prizes on different occasions (Once a month, Once every 3 months or based on the difficulty of the theme)
Reason: Make it harder to win/ VMR is not as popular as when it first came out so there is less competition and weekly similar players are placing in the same places/Inflammation of those players.
Any Other Information: Nope

This will only result in even less players. If anything the prizes for vmr need to be increased which will encourage more players and teams. The main reason it's not played in my opinion is because the prizes just aren't worth the time and effort it takes to place. I only ever seen you play the first week, Did you stop playing because it was too easy?
@Frostystorm1 Have you even played vmr? lol. Ask yourself why it is less competitive, it's because most look at how much more they can make for the same time played on main.
Also worth adding that we are still awaiting the announcement of prizes for 10k of each item which again will encourage more players.-

This is my reason for avoiding VMR. If more lower tier prizes are added, I would play because I would at least have something to show at the end of the week. It would actually be a fun change for money making for my alt and I think many newer players may enjoy its alternative as well.
This would basically be the final nail in the coffin for many players. It would remove all incentive for those that can't or won't grind in VMR 8 hours a day.-

DiamondDesire Queen of DiamondsBuilder ⛰️ Ex-EcoLeader ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium UpgradePersonally I always planned to only play the first week as did many others, I didn't stop playing because of the 'competition' I stopped playing because the game mode wasn't my preference. Its been running for 3 months now, throughout the last month at least I have noticed many of the same players are winning/not many people active in VMR. I understand you getting defensive on this as you are one of those players along with your relations who are the constant winners of this. Possibly on occasions to gather more interest the prizes could be more (Similar to build comps) but for a weekly thing I believe its too much in my own opinion.

Frostystorm1 BulletClub ︻╦╤─ | Former Senior Super ModeratorBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Tycoon ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium UpgradeThe prizes for VMR are not the reason why I and other players don't play it, it's just because we don't really enjoy the gamemode. VMR caters towards those who are willing to grind for 8 hours straight which is a very small group of people. Those people always win, which puts newer VMR players in a position where they think they can never win unless they waste their whole life away on the gamemode. Increasing the prizes will only cause the same players to win even more ECD. There is already too much money being dumped into the economy from VMR prizes that keep going to the same people each week.

Just seems crazy to me that you would suggest killing off what is our newest game mode rather than look at ways to encourage more people to take part. VMR actually has great potential as a team event but the prizes just aren't enough to justify it for the majority.
I am not defensive because I am a regular winner at all but because I would like to see it more competitive as I have stated numerous times, however reducing the prizes is not the way to do that. I played for the medal and certainly didn't grind for hours for the huge payout I would get if and when I won. -

So because it's not the game mode for you, The prizes should be reduced?
I would argue that tree farming for example dumps far more into the economy than vmr does. Understand that if the people playing vmr for "8 hours" used that same time to mine, farm or fish on the main, they would be "dumping" far more money into the economy.-

So cutting the rewards for the people who do enjoy it achieves what?
Maybe instead of cutting/decreasing stuff that isn't as popular. Maybe add incentive to actually play it to make it more popular?
Cutting rewards and essentially killing off incentive to players who do enjoy it is incredibly backwards thinking.-

I am not suggesting the current prizes increase. Simply create more lower tier prizes. If it can be automated, add in a prize of $1000 for being in the top 50 players. Sure everyone will probably get it, but it is only $50,000 a week into the economy and at least offers some reason for people to join.

Frostystorm1 BulletClub ︻╦╤─ | Former Senior Super ModeratorBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Tycoon ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium UpgradeYeah, I don't want to be a huge downer or anything, but the book was a really cool feature that got added and everyone was excited, only for VMR to be totally empty the next week. I don't see how adding more incentives has helped us before, nor will it help us now.

The booklet was added with "prizes to be announced". Not to mention the fact the only way to actually complete the booklet is to buy crate keys. That's some incentive-

DiamondDesire Queen of DiamondsBuilder ⛰️ Ex-EcoLeader ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium UpgradeThis has nothing to do with my suggestion, this should be stated in a different suggestion I am stating only the weekly end top 10 prizes.
-
People did do vmr at the start, but most people left it because they had grinded for a whole week and got nothing at the end of it. Then they think that vmr is just a waste of time and not do it anymore. I think we should add top 10.

Where you have to collect 10,000 Anvils and 10,000 discs...yeah, great incentive :p-

DiamondDesire Queen of DiamondsBuilder ⛰️ Ex-EcoLeader ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium UpgradeLmao I didn't say if it was great or not as I don't have much knowledge on the booklet release and it's not part of my suggestion but least it keeps you busy :p
-
I think grinding for a week is enough to keep you busy without the booklet.
