Minecraft Name: NAVYSEALS2000 Suggestion: Don't tag people in threads unless COMPLETELY necessary Reason: Most of the time someone tags other people, it is because they're involved, needed, or can help the person. Sometimes, people tag others so they know they're not welcome. What? I've seen threads where others will tag others so they know that they are not allowed to have anything to do WITH THE THREAD. If you don't want someone to see the thread, just put their name, no reason in tagging them. When you tag someone, it gives you the thought of, "Hey, look here,". Just put their name, if they look at the thread, they see their name "Oh, okay, I can't do anything (If they're not welcome)". If they tag someone, they want them to see what is happening, start a flame war, start something that should not be started in the first place. Any Other Information: If one does this, they should edit when staff asks, if they do this 3 times, it results in a warning. Or other consequences. Link To This Plugin: N/A
It'd be too difficult for staff to enforce. Additionally, how can one know what the boundaries for "completely necessary" are? Also, implementing such a broad rule to a massive community is very difficult in the first place.
+ MotherEffin one billion and eighty seven million one hundred eighty seven thousand kukelekuuk00 KMaxwell This is the point I was trying to make
Well if you say, "these people are not allowed because they are not intellegent" "they're not allowed because they have ni common sense". Its self explanatory, actually.
It is not against the rules, in the case you were demanding the tag of your name be removed. And, since it seems I failed to get my point across about dropping a subject when a member of staff asks you to, I will be issuing an appropriate time out. As for this suggestion, see here: 1. There is to be no flaming, raging, insulting, or disrespecting of other members. This includes attempting to prod a user into starting an argument with you or others, as well as just plainly attacking them. 2. hreads made for the sole purpose of raging/flaming another user or at the server in general are against the rules. The punishment for this is the thread immediately being deleted and a forum warning applied to your forum account. 3. There is to be no spamming with @ tags in posts. Only tag/mention someone using the @ tag if they are seriously needed in the thread. It's already in the rules.
And that is where there is a "Report" link at the bottom of each post. Often such things are left to the OP to monitor, since it is their thread. There is no way for the staff to be on top of every single thread in all sections and still be available in game to help people.
....and? I hate to play the immaturity card since I clearly lack in that department, but just walk away.
