Project NSTAR (Nether Star Trade and Reserve) is a pet project of mine aimed at using nether stars as an alternate currency for trade at prestige shops. Essentially, if a user is interested in receiving nether stars instead of ECD in exchange for their items, I will trade nether stars at current market value (which means this may change day to day) in exchange for those items.

For example, a player may wish to trade a shulker of pufferfish for nether stars. The shulker of pufferfish is worth $213,840 at 58% to a prestige shop. Assuming the nether star market value at $1k, I would trade 214 nether stars for the shulker of pufferfish.

This could be beneficial for those who would prefer other assets in exchange for their goods rather than ECD for tax reasons, long term holding of valuable assets, or any other reason! Since the value of nether stars rises and falls with supply, demand, and sometimes big server events (like winter festival), you may appreciate further value from your grind by holding these assets.
