Now with the new update for minecraft on the console now able to connect to win 10 version of minecraft is there going to be a chance that ecc would host something for that version?? I know alot of old players from ecc that would love to come back if it ever was possible.. Just a thought. I'd come back but wife forbids a pc lol
The way I see it: Most likely not. ECC uses dozens of plugins, all of which would need to be rewritten from scratch for the console/windows server software. That would be a ridiculous amount of effort - especially considering the fact that both the main server's and the console server's plugins would need to be maintained and updated for every new version. Also, I can't say I like the idea of splitting ECC's players across two servers that cannot interact with each other (i.e. via chat or item trade).
