-1 we already have had a vote on this and people thought it was a bad idea.
i like the fact that emeralds are grindy and not just something you buy like everythign else. We need more grinded things on ecc. makes stuff more of a challenge and therefore fun. we are hardcore economy server, so lets make something hard instead of people sitting back and farming the usually stuff to get all their items

 

I don't play a whole lot but I don't see why we would want to actively remove a supply constraint on one of the few products that actually have demand.

 

I don't like this, emeralds are a rare and hard to obtain object, that's part of their value and allure.

 

Lol? Sell nether stars and use the money to buy emeralds/diamonds. Simple as that. No need to interfere with those separate markets when there are already ways to accomplish this indirectly. These items are valuable due to their scarcity, so it would seem counterintuitive to artificially inflate the market with netherstar-generated gems. I don't mean to single parker out here, but I don't think we should delegitimize the acquisition of a substantial amount of rare(er) items like diamond and emeralds by allowing trading with nether stars because somebody has a bunch of nether stars to blow through.

Make it crazy expensive. Like 10x the market level of Emeralds which would probably make it $300 per emarald so I'd frankly say 1 nStar for 2 or 3 emeralds. I'd be down with that. That way the stupidly rich can waste stars if they really want to, it takes stars out of the economy, and it might raise star prices.

If this is done at a higher exchange rate, then you'll severely reduce the rarity and frankly cause more harm than good imo.

So +1 IF priced correctly.

 

The only way I can get behind this is if we make it crazy expensive. I would go higher than even what Revan said and make it a 1 nstar for 1 emerald.
This allows the users who want to have a sink of sorts, but still would encourage the regular user market because of how damn expensive they are in stars.

 

+1, however only for emeralds. I think the supply of diamonds is plenty for now, however emeralds are stupidly hard to come by - after a reset after all the ships have been looted it becomes nearly impossible to get a good supply.

Even if it’s 1 for 1, I’d like to see this implemented.

Emerald is hard to find and regardless of how "grindy" it is there will not be a constant supply from player shops. They frequently run out of stock.

 

-1 The community already voted on this, and one of the few markets that currently can't be directly bought would suddenly be flooded with investors and such using their irl cash to stock up then distribute.

Furthermore, the diamond and emerald collector medals are apart of a prestige, which is meant to be hard and time consuming, let's not make everything easily bought.

I was in favor of the suggestion until I read this.

I was thinking adding the diamonds/emeralds for nstar purchase since we'll be getting ancient debris soon, but I'm gonna have to -1.

 

the star tool/nstar market is already ruined, why do you want to ruin yet another part

I would prefer to see in game ways to increase the odds of getting emeralds rather then turning a collectors medal into another medal that can be bought.
As you can buy exp from the store, turn them into nstars and then trade for emeralds, the likelyhood of the player market of emeralds will just dissapear.

I would prefer to:
1. Increase Drop Rate of Emeralds in Fishing
2. Add Emerald as a High Excavation Drop in McMMO

I would even prefer to see the reintroduction of villagers in mining over making emeralds essentially buyable with real money.

 

-1. Even tho I want emeralds sucks I can’t just pay to get them.
I have to find people who are willing to sell them to me and take part in the grind that is a hardcore economy.
