Brief Description:
Using Magic Axe's tree feller skill on any tree doesn't collect leaves. Instead, other than collecting logs, it does collect the drops from breaking leaves: saplings, sticks and apples.

Magic axe is working as intended. When the magic axe came out it was decided that leaves would not be collected, rather their drops (sticks, apples, saplings). If you believe the magic axe should collect leaves rather than their drops, feel free to post a suggestion.

auto replant mode was added at the same time, our issue with giving leaves was the whole aspect that your inventory gets flooded with leaves after a handful of trees, and removes the ability to get extra saplings and other drops with the tool

Thank you @electronicboy for the explanation. I know you devs are already working on addressing the issue with nwart trees, which had become too profitable with Magic Axe. I will post my suggestions regarding leaves after you're done with that. :)
