Step 2: Go to a PvP arena with a person who is not vanished.
Step 3: Punch them.
Step 4: They are injured.

How many times did you recreate this?:
3-4 Times. Tested with @SpartanAmaroq and @Restiv. I also personally tested it and could injure someone while vanished.

Result:
You can kill and injure people.

Expected Result:
Not able to kill or injure people.
