+1 - all it does is set fire to shit forever, doesn't damage players.

I’ll make a vid when I get home from work
Edit: andrew, you might have just stood there in the fire. If you do that, there’s no problem. If you run THROUGH the fire, you’re supposed catch fire and take damage. That’s where the problem is, when you run IN AND OUT of fire, you don’t take damage. -
I think that’s a general Minecraft thing. I generally remember accidentally touching fire not only in the main city nether for a second and not burning/take damage, but also in some of my single player maps.

Could you test this in 1.8 or prior? There’s is no point of f & s being in SG if it’s going to be like this. Nobody is gonna stand in someone’s fire for 2 seconds. I’m certain it wasn’t like this before 1.9.
-
I've tested this myself using a 1.8 client and it is exactly the same, walking/running through fire, will not set you on fire
This is 100% a minecraft intended outcome.

This is exactly how it behaves on SG with my alt.
I am using 1.14.4 clients and our SG server is 1.13.2
Perhaps fire changed on Minecraft's side, in which case there is nothing we can do.
I'll need far more information from you guys and a way to reproduce this to fix it.
As it stands, I cannot reproduce.
