I cannot remove my pants that have curse of binding enchant on it in any way

Brief Description:
I want to take off my pants but I cannot in any way.

Instructions:
Put on an armor piece that has curse of binding on it

How many times did you recreate this?
Attempts to take it off:

(These attempts were all with /cheats toggled)
1. Dying- Did not work. I still respawned with my pants on
2. Trying to make the armor break- I tried to make the armor break but the armor piece autorepaired through /cheats

Result:
I still have my pants on


Expected Result:
A way to take off these leggings? Not sure if I'm 5head but I don't know another way to take them off

I've tried both of these and I still have them on :(

Edit: just tried jumping off the End but I cannot die still bc of voidwalker i assume
