    I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, but I really need this.

    My minecraft launcher cannot update to 1.9.4. Whenever I start it up the little text says no update found. Then it displays 1.9 but no further versions. How do I fix this? I don't want a .dat wipe just because my launcher isn't working, there's like 30k of my rightful money in there!

    How can I get my minecraft launcher to update?

    @SirDaniel13 when you click "Edit Profile" what's the latest minecraft version it goes up to? Only 1.9? If this is the case try downloading your launcher again.

    "Use Latest Version" might help.

    I go to options and it says NOTHING about "use latest version".

    I guess I'm screwed.

    Just now I selected "use development versions" in the options, and then it gave me the ability to scroll up to 1.9.4! The issue is solved. Mods, you can lock this.
