question you know the border we cannot tamper with it right? well can we build right under the border? (not affecting stone slabs and will not be visible above ground)

 

I asked this bcuz it may be needed in the case of a creation underground

 

Can other players place water for you? other than mods? And if they just wanna help and not join comp is it still ok for my app to be only a single builder?

 

In the case of the border, outside your plot all that I have permitted the placing of is stone to fill holes between your plot and the next. If walls of another material are part of your build, you must build them within the slab barrier.

So long as the users have perms to the competition, placing water doesnt count as helping with your competition entry. So long as they dont contribute to the design.

The plot number is assigned to you in the thread where you applied for the plot in the first place. Yours is plot 84. The Events area can be reached from a portal at spawn, and you can look around at the plot numbers to find your own. The numbers are arranged in a sort of "spiral" out from the portal. so if you see a number close to yours, just keep following it down the road, or farther out. You can also PM myself or another staff member in-game for help

 

Hey, so after reading carefully on the height regulations, I have found that two of arguably the best builds have exceeded the height regulations (one is y=126, the other is y=101). What will happen to them?

Also, there is a plot where though the building itself does not exceed the height limit, there are chests placed high over the building that do. What would happen in this case?

(Please inform me if this is not an appropriate question to ask as I had no intention to break any rule, I was simply curious as height was a major concern in my own plot's construction)

 

I'm sorry if the height and depth limits were unclear. We meant it to be 20 blocks down from the "ground level" which i believe is y:63, and 100 above the ground level. So the plots you are indicating are as of yet within the bounds.

In the case that someone does have blocks above the actual limit, they will be disqualified at the time of the actual judging. They have the time until then to edit and remove those blocks.

 

So like big or small, simple or Awesome, itll be judges equally? or something Like that?

 

To the best of our ability, yes. Whether users build a massive structure or a smaller themed build, its whatever fits the spirit of the competition and the grading rubric best.

 

Is there a possibility to leave the build comp again? I realized that I won't be able to finish my original idea in time, and my emergency idea doesn't look good. :(

 

If you would like to simply resign, make another post on the applications page and I'll remove your perms and see that your plot is made available to whoever else would like to apply. On that note, it's for the best that you remove any materials you want to keep before indicating if you want to leave the competition.

 

Alright, thank you! I might be able to start removing today and will hopefully finish removing tomorrow. Then I'll post my resign.
Maybe I'll be able to participate in any future ECC event instead! :)

 

What happens to the plot and items when comp is over?

 

You will be given 7 days to reclaim your property from the plots, then all permissions to the competition area will be revoked.
