Main City ServerShort title for your suggestion:
Auction House Min Bid DecreaseWhat are you suggesting:
I think the min bid should be decreased to 50.Why is this a good addition for EcoCityCraft?:
I agree that the change from $10 min bid made a huge difference in the auction house spam, but I think going to $100 made it harder to auction off some items that people want to see. A lot of newer players trying to make money are putting items at too low a price or too high a price because of the $100 incremental bid.Other information:
We have the /auc spam option now, so I think cutting the min in half should not really increase the amount of spam that gets out there compared to now, and will encourage the new player base to auction more items off rather that just resorting to begging for money.

I think this is correct ... 100 might have been too far to go, even if the intent was right.

As for the suggestion of increase.
On the one hand I get the new players trying to sell things. But from what I understand they keep trying to sell a small number of things that are not worth a $100, let alone a few hundred ECD. I don't think auction was really intended to be a quick-sell quick-money market. We have /sell hand for that. I feel it should be more an option to sell desirable items to the highest bidder.
A $50 increment would open it up to more options, but they still need to sell desirable things at a good value for people to even bother bidding on it.
Our energy might be better spent educating the new players about selling items in bulk or selling what is generally desirable.
Not sure if such a change is needed, I don't see it fixing anything.
Just my two cents.-

I personaly like the $10 auc's. Even with the spam wothout $10 aucs there is no market for eff1/prot1 stuff that new players could cheaply buy.
Even though I know many people dislike the spam somewhere there needs to be a market for $10-$50 value items.-

There is no need for $10-$99 increment auctions.
if you're selling items that cheap utilize our spawn shops, town shops, town warps, trade channel, /trade system, etc.
The auction bid increment will never drop below $100.
Auctions are for their own class of items, not to sell one wooden pickaxe.
