Minecraft Name:
youthfulyoyo
Suggestion:
make pushing afk players into pvp zones illegal
Reason:
pushing afk players into a pvp zone is trolling. players might be far away from a pvp zone and just had to do something real quick irl. it's not fair for players who dont want any part of PvP.
Any Other Information:
pushing afk players at all should be illegal but its not as important as this

1.
How are you going to prove it? If you were AFK and died there won't be any evidence that you were pushed.
2.
Escape -> Disconnect -> Leave -> Return -> Click on ECC -> Continue playing.
There is no easier way to prevent the need for such a rule in the first place.-

Just don't go afk where you can be pushed? Or log out?
It takes literally two seconds to log out.
You can't even enforce this rule... -
Good for you, but you're literally going out of your way to entrap people as opposed to simply logging out briefly.

Just log off or don't AFK some place stupid. Why make staff go and enforce this when it can be prevented with little to no effort on your part?

why did it not become a rule in the first place
-
because it's next to impossible to enforce fairly and you can avoid the problem entirely by spending 2 seconds to log out
why should it be staff's responsibility to make it so you don't get pushed into PvP?
why shouldn't it be your responsibility? -
Should be a rule, seems like the staff are against what should be a common sense rule though. Obviously logging out is the best and only 100% way to prevent this but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be a rule saying that you can't do it

DaEpicMiner326 Living Embodiment of a MemeBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Tycoon ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium UpgradeCurrent staff + 1ex staff had made their point and I do agree to said points, if you care for your stuff then do not be in a 1000 meter distance (or whatever you think a sane person would move you/the time you are going to be gone) of a pvp area or log off.
The presidence of how pushing people into pvp is their according to past suggestions and a few player complaints, unless something major is different (IE perhaps people using elytras with fireworks to launch people into pvp zones[I hope this is really not a thing but I doubt it is]) then the ruling should still stand.
@Jrg5978 What is the point of a rule that does nothing, if we assume that this action is common sense then the person that gets pushed in is A. Knows common sense but is baiting a person/friends to push them in. B. Does not know common knowledge.
In the end, if the knowledge to avoid being near pvp area when afking/logging out before being afk, then why add another rule to the 19 PAGE RULE BOOK (If you go to the wiki and click the printable version, then right click and print, the print preview will show how they would look printed.).
On a side not, if we assume the action of "not afking near pvp zone" is common sense then according to said 19 page rule book you are breaking Section 2 clause 4 which states
(A few snipets so you do not have to go look if you forgot, all rules are direct copy paste from the rules)
and the act of afking near a pvp zone can/may be interepreted as such if this was a rule. -
I wouldn't say it would do nothing. If it is a rule I bet you it would happen a less because of the risk of punishment from maybe the person coming back and recording or a mod or another user just happens to see it happening. Rules don't prevent anything, it just makes people less inclined to do them because of the risk of punishment.

thats the goal of this rule if it cant prevent it, it would at least make it so less people get unfairly killed
-
Next to impossible to enforce, a bigger problem for staff to handle something that's so god damn hard to actually get evidence for. Don't afk if you do not want to be killed. Player pushing used to be a thing on this server and it was legal before and it should stay legal now.

As said above it really is your fault if you get pushed into pvp.
Just don't die -
ProMasterBaker BuilderBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Mayor ⚒️⚒️
Make it a rule to deter people from doing it. I understand that it will not stopping it by making it a rule. If you are able to record it then do so and if you have sufficient evidence file a complaint for action to be taken. If not that's your own fault for being dumb and failing to out yourself in a safe spot or simply logging off.

DonaldTrump9 Former President of ECCResident ⛰️ Ex-EcoMaster ⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium UpgradeSo this rule would only benefit people who have the time to record themselves for the purpose of catching someone who's breaking a rule that's impossible to enforce otherwise?
Like seriously if people didn't log off in stupid areas this wouldn't be a problem. -
DaEpicMiner326 Living Embodiment of a MemeBuilder ⛰️ Ex-Tycoon ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Premium UpgradeI think my side note is quite relevant to the fact that to catch it requires them to record it doing a act that they wouldn't do if they weren't their in the first place aka logging off ...
-
Or maybe another person will happen to see them getting pushed. Lmao this should a really easy rule to add I am surprised it wasn't already a rule. People will probably see too, about 3-4 years ago now I remember getting a mail From a staff member who force tped me to a safe place because they saw me getting pushed.
