It feels like it falls under selling irl items for ECD, which is against the rules.

 

I think it would not be allowed cuz someone that hasn’t donated a lot could now be viewed as a sponsor and it could miss lead people idk

So you are wanting to give someone the sponsor rank after donating for it on a fresh email account correct (Starting from scratch, $0-$2,500)?

If that's the case, I will allow it, however, unless that other user's account is another one of your own accounts (like @koko_2022 did with @Al_Gbgb) then that user will NEVER have the ability to become an "insured" sponsor unless they themselves spend $2,500 and verify their identity.

 

Andrew, just for my knowledge in case I do this, when you mean “give,” you mean for free, correct?

 

You can give them the sponsor rank, or you may sell it for EcoDollars, as it's an in-game rank you're selling for in-game EcoDollars. (You'd have to start from scratch as well $0-$2,500).

As well, those users will have absolutely zero gaurantee to keep their sponsor rank should we get complaints and the community as a whole decides to remove it. Basically, you're messing with this at your own risk.

I won't provide any further clarification what so ever, as it's not something I care to ever make a thing out of.
