What I'm suggesting is a button that only the creator of a thread on a forum can use. Basically it allows them to press a button that bumps their thread to the top. This button would only work once every x amount of days. I was thinking 5? It could also show a little text on the bottom (where the last edited time is) the last time it was bumped. I am suggesting this as the traditional way of bumping threads makes threads extremely cluttered with things that don't pertain to the topic at hand.

    Edit:
This addon looks like it does it : https://xenforo.com/community/resources/bump-threads.4915/

    Edit 2:
This addon looks like you can modify who can bump a thread in each forum/subforum so some forums can have different permissions than others for who can bump the thread

Okay but I say just add ability tops once every 3-5 days. Prevents becoming necro but this is a slow board, if you have nothing to add to your thread but desperation for attention it doesn't need to be bumped more than that.
