+1. I could include proof/answer any questions if needed. But due to Bob being staff and highly trusted I don't think he needs to. You could argue that if there was only one person farming you would make a lot more money right? Not the case. In order to set up a profitable farm it would take you hours apon hours just to set it up. Then.. You need to make another farm just for the chorus plants. You also need more than one person to be able to farm both the farms, replant after you break the fruit and collect all of the fallen fruit so it doesn't get butchered. Not to mention there is a very good chance if you're by yourself that you will die instantly and lose all of your supplies etc. I don't know if us normal folk can tag Andrew but I feel like these are valid points that he should see. @andrewkm
Edit: Not only would a major increase of the price of chorus fruit bring the money made per hour closer to 50k, it would bring many more people in the end. Ask pretty much anyone and they will tell you what I just said.

yeah, doing it solo would actually make less. the way our farm is set up 4 people each with different jobs at once is the most efficient profit per hour.

I know we were doing some tests the other night. Definitely requires multiple people working multiple farms to reach profitability to make it worth it.

As Emau said above, it requires multiple people working on a large farm with plenty of space etc to even come close to the advertised amount per hour.

It shouldn't be needed that you have a team of people to earn some money off it, you should be able to get enough profit individually or at least with a team of 2

What if the drop rate from chorus fruit is set to 100% instead of 50%? That would like double increase of income.

 

We are leaving the price like this until further notice. We can re-examine it in 1-2 weeks but I don't think we will raise it more at this time. We can't just slap 60k/hour immediately, things like this have to be fine tuned and ensure it doesn't cause any instability.
