As it stands now, if someone wants to increase their rank a lot in the SG standings they can get a hacked client and appeal once they get banned. No penalty... I agree, wipe their SG stats and maybe even include a bonus penalty to help them remember not to hack by giving them 10% less money they earn in SG. I personally think that hacking doesn't really have enough of a penalty. Sure, people know you hacked, but there is really no other IGN penalty. If SG stats are wipes and/or their profits from SG are permanently decreased, people would be less inclined to hack. -
But what about people who don't have that many SG points? Doesn't that seem kind of pointless if you are only removing 1-10k points?

Most of the points you earn, are with the hacked clients. Therefor it's giving them an unfair advantage to the game, and a harsh punishment should be enforced. -

I like this idea but the only question I have is what if someone is banned for sg hacking but is later determined innocent what would happen?
