Suggestion:
Increase the current amount of points achieved in Survival Games.
Reason:
SG is a bit rough these days and there are rare occasions of people playing the game. If you look at the current medals that can be obtained in SG, the high tier ones have very few people - 1 person only has the 1.2mil medal.

I'm suggesting we start increasing this point system because new users / people with lower points can start gaining points. The SG leaderboard top 10 is stuck at a state where there's inactive users and it has been this way for almost a year. There's no excitement to compete in the top (sure you can blame kits for the death of it) but I believe that with summer coming, we can increase the points gained (I'm thinking double or triple the current ones) to make it a bit easier for people to get the medals (Kudos to those who achieved it before, but at the current SG states it might as well take someone 2 years of just playing SG).

Also think they should make a new system for combo kills cause its to hard to get legendary even unbelievable kills
Cause of lack of players in sg and it takes longer to kill in 1.9 or give more time to kill to get the combos-

A month after eco legend came out how many people had it?
It's still ~relatively~ early and as more people play more sg, more people will get it.
A top medal like that should be worked for for countless hours. It should remain that way. -
+1Sounds like it would be a good idea to me, and maybe add in another top__ and have it reset monthly? so have one for ALL TIME point leader.. which would base the medals and another one for "this month" for people to shoot for more short term.

+1 in the last year I have been an active SG player and only earned just over 150k points. So to get to the 1.2 mil points for the final medal would take about another 6 years at the state SG is at the moment, and let's be honest the more time that passes the more dead SG gets meaning that 1.2mil point goal is getting further and further out of reach, so probably more like 10 years tbh.
SG used to have over triple the amount of players in most games than it does now, so I think double or triple points would make up for this, and hopefully make the 1.2mil points more achievable for everyone including new players. -
I don't see how this is relevant? Even the highest level of medal for SG has been out for over a year. If you really want to go by that:
From what I recall, the highest SG medals were added at the end of march, 2015. So... 13.5 months ago.
Ecolegends 13 months after EcoLegend was released (assuming october 20th as release date cause that's the first ecomaster app): 6
Number of players with top SG medal 13 months after release: 1
Six times as many people earned ecolegend in the first 13 months as earned the top sg medal.
(Hell even the second-to-last SG medal which requires half as many points still only has like 10 people who qualify for it 13 months after release)
...we've been keeping these leaderboards for like... 3 years. The server is only 5 years old. I don't think that counts as early.
It should remain that way, yeah, except that it can't. For it to remain the way it was we'd need 1.8 combat back where you can chain kills, because that's the easiest way to earn points. 1.9 changed things, and you basically can't chain kills outside of dumb luck.
This is less of a "this thing is in general too hard" suggestion and more of a "minecraft made this thing waaaay harder than we mean it to be" suggestion. To say things should remain the same when the game has already changed them is silly.-

@Nicit6 . all I'm trying to say, and maybe I've been wording it wrong, is that it should take a very long time to get that medal. I competed it to ecolegend strictly in the sense that they're both comparable as they are both "beating the game", and likwise should be reserved to players how have been playing for massive periods of time.
I think also that scaling the points is wrong because it means that what people do this year adds to more than last year. If we're going to scale points earbed, we should consider scaling points previously earned.
I wouldn't want to be the 1 player that earned it, then to see it is only required to have half the effort put into it a year later (doubling the points). -

Only one person has the 1.2 million SG points medal, and that's when getting double kills was relatively easy compared to now. It still takes a lot of time regardless of whether the amount of points earned per kill is bumped or not.
Not necessarily. It's much more harder to get a multiple kill now in 1.9 than it is in 1.8, which means that there's a good chance that the amount of SG points gained in total with the point increases will stay the same, if not be even less.
Doubling the points =/= half as much effort put into the points medal. 1.9 made getting multiple kills much more harder; it takes more effort to get multiple kills now, which in turns means that it requires more effort to collect large amounts of points. This suggestion is supposed to fix that problem and bring back the effort required to what it previously was during 1.8. -

I didn't consider the lowered sg population or 1.9.
Should the population rise again I think we should keep the points scaled inversely with it. -
