Suggestion:
Add a list of current banned mods (or a list of current acceptable mods) to the rules section and keep it updated
Reason:
Seems only a very small number of staff actually know which mods are (not) allowed besides hacked clients and automations. The main reason for this is I was told World Downloader was acceptable about 6 months ago by a staff member, then recently told it was illegal by jamie. If people knew which specific mods were banned or allowed, things like this could be avoided (by players who try and follow the rules of course).
The current section of the rules that lists banned mods/clients covers the basics, but its just not quite specific enough, especially on mods (like WorldDownloader) that people rarely think of as being illegal on here.
(I bet @SuburbSomeone could come up with a well worded list or something if he wanted to)
- Fly, speed, air build, teleport hacking, or any other types of hacks, are not tolerated. This includes x-ray hacking and x-ray texture packs. Using any unfair means (including glitches, bugs, and exploits) to get into server buildings is also not allowed and is unfair to other users.
Any Other Information:
This could help avoid some confusion and clarify these types of things

N/A. Should just be a wiki change.

The issue with this is that we don't only disallow or allow a few specific mods. The distinction really comes down to what a particular mod does and whether it creates an unfair advantage.
Adding lists of mods to the rules really doesn't accomplish anything, and making the distinction clear solves the issue.-
