So, basically I'm suggesting to get the ClientPermissions Plugin as per kuke's post:

You can BLOCK AUTOFISHERS!
As per the plugin the description, you can also control/block the most widely used and effective autofishing mod on ECC too:


And it doesn't stop there either ;). You can also disable the KEY command and such, to completely BLOCK AUTOFARMING via macros too! Just as you can disable the ECHO command, you're able to disable the KEY command too.

Oh yes, we can also BLOCK THE VOXELMAP MOD too as per kukelekuuk00's post:

Blocking ECHO command is to handle the constant spam in the trade channel. Want to advertise? Put some effort in it.

Might I also add, the amount of AFK macro advertisers is huge too.

 

That's only a portion of the problem - The main problem lies in Macros themselves spamming trade.

 

I guess you do have a point here, I'll be taking that out of my suggestion. However, I will still stand by the other suggested changes - I see no reason to oppose blocking autofishing, autofarming, autoclicking and the VoxelMap.

 

This. I removed the Echo part given how many users use it, but we must remember, that if we're serious about combatting spam in the trade channel, we must disable ECHO. Disabling ECHO is really the only viable solution that can work in the long run and limit trade spam.

 

Any more feedback? Aren't we interested in stopping hackers?
