Hi there, and welcome to the official thread for @a_man21 and @MattShark7 's nation of Sunset Valley, which includes the towns of Mineburg, Ridley, Foxcrest, Mattlock, Ravenfall, and Sunset City. Please comment below with your thoughts or suggestions for the towns! I will do my best to keep this thread as up to date as possible! All of the towns in the nation have warps, so just do /warp <town> to visit any of them! Want to get back to this thread? just go to tinyurl.com/SunsetValleyECC Prices for space in my town are as follows: 10x10 plot: $500 20x20 plot: $2000 Spawn Apartment: $500 Luxury apartment: $1000 Penthouse suite apartment: $2000 Prebuilt house prices are negotiable, plot and apartment prices are not. Plot and apartment prices are single payments, no weekly/monthly rent! The town has several apartment buildings, a metro subway system, a tree farm, multicrop farm, shop spaces, and a public park! Situated at the base of a mountain range with a natural river flowing through the middle, Mineburg, Ridley, and Mattlock are the perfect places for you to start your adventure at EcoCityCraft! I have done my best to conform to the natural landscape of the area where the nation is built in order to preserve the beauty of the town. Town rules: (full list) Spoiler: Rules 1. No griefing. Griefing is considered any placing or destroying of blocks outside of your plot, or failure to replant a farm. Anyone who is evicted for griefing will be unable to return to the town in the future. 2. Build on your own plot. Do not build over, under, on, above, or replace the gravel plot borders, or on the sandstone sidewalk on the street. 3. Stay off other players' plots unless you are invited in. 4. No stealing from unlocked chests, furnaces, brewing stands, or anything else that holds items that do not belong to you. Although stealing from unlocked chests is legal per server rules, it is not permitted in the town and will result in an eviction. 5. No buildings made primarily from dirt, farms are the only exception. 6. Town mayors (@a_man21 and @MattShark7 ) will decide if a building is made from unacceptable materials or with an unacceptable design. 7. Do not kill, harm, or attack other players' animals or pets. 8. No using plots only for building underground vaults or basements, there must be some sort of house or structure. 9. No building or running your own apartment building, shop, or casino. If you would like a shop, I rent space at /warp ridley by the month and at /warp sunsetcity by the week, contact me or @MattShark7 for more information. If you want to run a casino, you can buy host perms from me at my spawn statue, /warp r21. 10. No mining within or under any towns in the nation. Use /warp mining instead. Mining in towns is considered building off of your plot, therefore it is grief. 11. Violation of any town rules could result in an eviction without warning, or will result in a fine to be paid to remain in the town. 12. Failure to build on your new plot within 3 days of purchase will result in an eviction. 13. Plot prices are as follows, and are non-negotiable: 10x10: $500 ecd or 1 nether star 20x20: $2000 ecd or 4 nether stars. 14. Plot payment is required up front. 15. If you are evicted from one town within the nation, you are evicted from all of them as well (for example if you live in Mattlock then you lose your farm permissions in Mineburg). 16. You will be evicted after you are inactive for 7+ days unless you give advanced notice of your absence. If you are removed for inactivity then your stuff will be kept in the town vault for 7 days after you are removed, then it will become property of the town. 17. The rule book in game is not a full list. This list is the full list. 18. If you decide to move out of the town, you might receive a 50% discount for your plot/apartment/prebuilt home. If you are evicted, you will receive no discount. 19. Do not build large trees (with a 2x2 sapling base) on a 10x10 plot, and only build them on 20x20 plots if the upper branches remain on the plot. 20. Any players who get banned for the server for grief, trolling, inappropriate language, or any other offense deemed serious by the mayors will be evicted from the town. 21. Do not lie to the mayors. Breach of trust is one of the worst offenses possible in my opinion, and anyone who breaches my trust by lying will be swiftly ejected from the town.
Here are some quick announcements about the new and exciting things coming to Mineburg and Ridley: Spleef arena is now open! Nether wart and melon sections of the public farm are now fully planted and ready to harvest!
Please excuse the mess at the town spawn! I am in the process of rebuilding the spawn area to look better with the new town hall. It will look great when its complete!
I've been planning on building this for a long time, now I can say its officially happening! Foxcrest Speedway is now under construction in the town of Foxcrest (north of Mineburg, past the farm). There will be a racetrack for boats and one for horses as well. Come see our progress!

Several people have asked about my plans for Foxcrest, so here I go: I am building a theme park in the town of Foxcrest. Things I have planned are a horse racetrack, a rollercoaster, casino, spleef, PVP arenas, and more. I will sell lifetime passes to players on the server for them to be able to participate (residents of Mineburg and Ridley will have free/discounted perms). I have already completed the boat racetrack, and my next project will be the horse track. These items will be built first since they take up the most space. There will also be a warp created to go right to Foxcrest, and I might build a town-town portal to the Mineburg spawn (similar to the one that goes to Ridley).
There seemed to be some confusion earlier about Co-Mayors and buying and selling land, so here goes: Here is the only co-mayor I have for MIneburg, Ridley, and Foxcrest: @MattShark7 These are the ONLY two players (besides myself) that are permitted to sell vacant plots and apartments in the towns. This does not apply if you choose to sell your house. If you decide to move out of Mineburg or Ridley, or if you just want a new house in either town, you must sell your house to another player by yourself, and contact either myself or @MattShark7 for the new owner to be added to the respective town. I hope this clears up any confusion anyone has about these topics. I am doing some road work in Mineburg right now. I am taking down and rebuilding two bridges: the one leading towards the spleef arena and the one leading to the public farm. If anyone needs to get to either one of these places, let me know and I will tp you across.
New bridges are complete! Metro expansion is my next project! Foxcrest Spawn, Mattlock Spawn, and Horse track stations opening soon!
I have been busy today doing work in Mineburg and Foxcrest! There are two projects that I have been focusing on: Metro line extention to Foxcrest and Mattlock: The line will be extended from the B Street station and the Mineburg Farms station. There are enterances to the new tubes there, please do not enter them as the tunnel is still under construction. The tracks will be diverted into the new tunnels when they are complete, and the old tunnnel will be blocked off. Foxcrest spawn: As you know, I have been converting Foxcrest into an amusement park with games and other activities. I am building a spawn area that will be home to a warp to Foxcrest.
The entire metro system in Mineburg, Ridley, and Foxcrest is temporarily closed as the new tracks are installed for the Foxcrest and Mattlock extension of the metro line. Please do not enter the tunnels until the construction is complete.
Apartment buildings are being renovated! All users have been legally evicted from their apartments, and I am in the process of removing the trade signs in the shops on the first floor. If you have a shop, please remove your signs and replace them in one of the new stalls in the market near the spawn (location of the old tree farm).
