Sorry Carter, but I think a simple solution to this is not go afk in the nether, no matter what. If you want to be safe, just go the X-amount of block back through the portal back to spawn and afk there

 

I think what he's saying is that he was afk in rising or legacy spawn.

 

Yeah now that I read it again, I learned that I cannot read lol. Still, unless you are afk right next to the portal, it’s still going to be hard to get pushed all the way into the portal, then out of the “safe zone” of that world without someone noticing/you coming back from afk

 

I've seen (i wasn't there, but noticed by pink name tag) carter get pushed from sg lobby to nether portal though. A barrier could probably be helpful.

To summarize my opinion from that thread:

 

I actually have afk boxes that I built in /warp Shoreline . You can lock the doors, and a light will show if someone is in the box or not. It’s the safest option. Or you could go into a locked area and go afk.

 

I've actually seen this happening many times and have had multiple users try to push me into portal when they think I am afk. This has developed into a problem.

So as I misread this initially, I actually tend to agree with this now, but I still agree with afking somewhere safe (it takes two seconds to do /home)

 

Read the warnings for the nether and end. It's not safe to afk an area you can be pushed.

 

I didnt even read anything just gonna say what any moderator would say -
"It is your responsibility to become afk in a safe place."
