so uh, I'll get more into this but:

TL;DR: a channel where players can talk but not read. opposite of alert channel. (staff can see this channel only, but players can send messages to the channel)

Details:

• Chat Color: Alert Red (&c)
• Who can speak in channel: (Anyone)
• Who can see channel messages and read them: (Staff Only)
• obviously since this would stick out to staff they can punish trolling the channel in some manner, but they can also see messages that are intended for staff eyes only

But why though?

Basically its an 'anonymous tip' channel. Sometimes you have information for staff, but A: don't want to scream it in global where people might socially not want to throw their peers under the bus so to speak, and B: it might get lost in global anyways cause it doesn't stick out well. StaffHelp chat will solve these problems, rare though they may be.

Additionally this can simply be used for any sort of staff related 'help needed'. Much easier for staff to spot a bright red 'MOD someone is stealing from my unlocked wild chest and I'm watching them!' (or something more serious) than a global message you may be zoned out of watching at the time. Obviously we should try to avoid generic questions in this chat, as other users may be able to help just as much but anything that needs a staff member would be much better placed here.

Another thing is 'what about PMing a staff member?' Well, sometimes you don't know if one might be afk. if its a time sensitive thing, it would be much better to send to all staff instantly then cycle through and hope the one you pm first is active at that time. This may not be THAT big of an issue, but I mean the channel cannot hurt. There is literally no downside unless Jamie has to do some fancy coding and really I mean who doesn't want to code sweet sweet plugins.

But you can't make a channel like that!

Well I mean we might be able to. I'm not entirely sure how OP our chat plugin is. But if it can't, I mean, maybe Jamie is a wizard.
